If you cancel auto-renewal, any upgrades and new versions of CorelDRAW which we release after March 8, 2022, would only be available to you during that extended period. During the extended period of the free Subscription until Mar 7, 2023, you will also receive the benefits of that Subscription at no charge. "By canceling auto-renewal, you will still have your UPP benefit for the remainder of your current UPP term. Here's the relevant portion of the email: What I don't understand is whether I will receive a new version of Corel Draw this year that I will be able to use indefinitely without further charge.
I understand all of that Corel can do what it wants to do. If I accept the full year subscription, I will be charged what I paid the last time my UPP re-upped (though the way I read the email, I will NOT receive such a discounted subscription rate for a second full year, in March 2024).
According to the email, when my current UPP term ends in September, my service will be transitioned to the subscription service without cost to me until March 7, 2023, at which time I will be charged for a full year's subscription unless I cancel. As an Upgrade Protection Program (UPP) customer, I received an email from Corel today that reported the company's decision to end the UPP in favor of a subscription-only model.
